Tumblr in June

Well, folks, it's that time again!

Time for me to attempt to explain why I haven't posted and then make empty promises to post more often. 

And then post all of last months Tumblr beauties. 

I don't have any original sources for these but if you do, please let me know and I'd love to link the photo!

Rooftop Concert Series: June 7

This past Friday was the first Friday of the month, meaning it was Rooftop Concert day!
I'm volunteering this year, so I spent EIGHT hours on the Rooftop that day, resulting in a horrible sunburn which I won't show you because it will probably make you cry.
BUT that eight hours that we all spent on the Rooftop also resulted in something incredible.

The Rooftop opened at 6 PM for people to come reserve their spots and hang out until the show started at 7:30.

At 7:30, Jay William Henderson went on. I wasn't able to get any video of him, but you can see him play "Lonely Man" (my personal favorite of his) here, and "Let the Sail Be Your Guide" here. He is absolutely mesmerizing. There is something about the way he puts his emotions into his performances that will absolutely break your heart in the most perfect and beautiful way possible.

Polytype played at about 8:15 and they, too, were incredible. It was around this time that the Rooftop really started filling up.

Joshua James was the last performer of the night. I wish I had the words to describe what exactly it is that Joshua does for a person's mind, heart and soul, so I will allow his performance to speak for itself.

(I do apologize for the horrific quality of the video, and the fact that I wasn't able to capture the whole song ("Surrender") - my phone kept running out of available space. So just close your eyes and let his voice and his words sink into you.)

All in all, a magical night, and one that reminds me how lucky I am to live where I do. 

Joshua is right to say that there is a Mystic in these mountains. And boy, did He deliver this last Friday night.

Tumblr in May

Last month, I said I would work on posting more in May. So, naturally, I didn't post at all in May. In fact, any time I've spent on the internet has been doing homework and making videos, because that's a thing I do now, or something. So here are the (very few) things I found in the month of May that I loved on tumblr. As you can see, it's all about feathers and skulls for me. That sounded strange.

Tumblr in April + YouTube!

I'm about to start school on Monday, but in the past month I've again had lots of time on my hands.
I'm sorry I was terrible and didn't post a single time this month but honestly, I didn't have anything to talk about. So here are the photos I found on Tumblr this month that I really loved. I hope you love them too.

In other news, I recently started a YouTube channel! I'm really excited about it and I have some ideas for videos that I'm really excited about making and sharing with all of you guys!
